The Moscone Center South expansion added a ballroom level and a meeting room level to the existing three level convention facility, significantly increasing its ability to host large conferences and multiple simultaneous events. The project required careful evaluation to ensure that patron circulation, vertical transportation, and curbside operations could safely and efficiently support peak-event conditions. 

TransSolutions supported the design team by conducting detailed micro simulation analyses of the expanded facility. TransSolutions evaluated pedestrian flows, corridor and lobby sizing, vertical circulation systems, and bus and taxi operations to confirm facility capacity, identify potential bottlenecks, and recommend improvements that ensure a high level of service for event attendees.
